Job Requirements
- minimum two years of diverse building and grounds maintenance experience
- or three years relevant education and experience
- valid driver’s license
- successful passing of required background and driving record checks
- ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- willingness to work outdoor in all weather conditions
- ability to lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds
- ability to work varying shifts including evenings and weekends as needed
- ability to operate tools and heavy equipment safely

Job Qualifications

- ability to operate various maintenance equipment
- knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and grounds maintenance
- strong communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- execute a variety of skilled and semi-skilled building maintenance and repair tasks
- perform grounds maintenance duties including mowing, trimming, cutting brush, planting, and pruning
- conduct daily airport inspections to ensure safety and operational standards
- perform custodial functions including cleaning restrooms and minor plumbing repairs
- carry out repairs and preventive maintenance on airport facilities including control tower, hangars, fences, and signs
- apply pesticides and herbicides in compliance with regulations
- operate and maintain a variety of tools, equipment, and machinery
- maintain inventory and secure tools and equipment
- prepare and maintain reports and records related to operations
- inspect and perform minor repairs on storm drains and sanitary sewers
- assist with snow removal, water operations, and pavement management
- respond to and assist in airport emergencies
- contribute to teamwork and respect in the workplace
- participate in cross-training and perform other assigned duties
