Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to stand for entire scheduled shift
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to pass security background check and airport clearance
- Adherence to local and state health department guidelines
- Reliable attendance and timely reporting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the housekeeping/janitorial field
- Ability to maintain a presentable and polished appearance in keeping with service standards in a best-in-class environment
- Ability to handle the stress of a fast-paced work shift up to ten hours
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Ability to walk, bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to pass and obtain security background check and clearance to work in airport environment
Job Duties
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, break rooms
- Assist with clearing tables of dirty dishes and cleaning tables
- Restock beverage stations
- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and/or draperies using vacuum cleaner and/or shampooers
- Empty wastebaskets and recyclables and transport to designated disposal areas within and outside of the lounge
- Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors in restrooms
- Replenish restroom supplies, polish metalwork including fixtures and fittings
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, perform additional floor work such as scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors
- Wash walls and woodwork, clean windows, door panels, partitions, and windowsills
- Notify supervisor concerning any need for maintenance repairs or additions observed
- Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures
- Dust furniture, fixtures, equipment, and partitions
- Stand during entire scheduled shift
- Perform other duties as assigned
