Job Requirements

  • must have a high school diploma or GED
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • basic computer literacy
  • previous ramp or airline experience
  • must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • able to proficiently speak, read, and write in English
  • capable of processing information in a timely manner
  • must successfully complete all training requirements and maintain certifications throughout employment
  • must clear a FBI fingerprint background check
  • ability to navigate electronic devices such as computers, fax machines, printers, timeclocks
  • proof of high school or GED completion

Job Duties

  • report to work on a regular and timely basis
  • clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or vacuuming
  • gather trash and empty cans
  • service, clean, and supply restrooms
  • clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees
  • dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment as well as clean and polish furniture and fixtures
  • mix water and detergents or acids to prepare cleaning solutions
  • follow procedures for use of chemical cleaners and power equipment
  • steam-clean and shampoo carpets
  • strip, seal, finish, and polish floors
  • move freely, reach, bend, and twist in confined spaces to hand clean
  • operate vehicles and/or equipment including vans, industrial trucks, or industrial vacuum cleaners
  • requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance
  • spray insecticides and fumigants to prevent insect and rodent infestation
  • use cognitive skills to check condition, clean, sort, count, salvage, and/or store equipment
  • work as a team or independently without direct supervision
