Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • must be able to obtain credentials required by airport, state, or customs regulations
  • must be able to constantly lift up to 70 pounds and more
  • must be able to push, pull, walk, stand, reach above shoulder, stoop, squat, kneel, bend, reach out, and grasp
  • must frequently climb and crawl
  • must be able to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
  • must be able and willing to work in outside weather conditions including severe seasonal elements

Job Qualifications

  • ability to operate computerized ticketing and check-in systems

  • ability to assist passengers with empathy and patience

  • strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
  • ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Assist passengers with a friendly welcome through arrival and check-in including support for special needs passengers such as unaccompanied minors and those needing wheelchair assistance
  • handle all aspects of ticketing and check-in by operating computerized systems including boarding and baggage services
  • resolve passenger complaints and problems related to ticketing and baggage
  • direct passengers through Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine
  • assist ramp agents to manage wheelchairs, strollers, and gate-checked bags for loading and delivery
  • push wheelchairs with passengers through airport areas
  • adhere to all safety procedures and policies
  • perform other related duties as assigned within skill and experience level
  • complete work safely following company safety and operational standards
  • immediately report safety and security incidents and potential hazards according to company policy
