Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- high school diploma or GED required
- previous experience in customer service or similar work experience preferred
- ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
- must be able to read, write and communicate in English
- effective communication skills and professionalism
- collaborator with an initiative-taking and helpful attitude
- able to lift and maneuver wheelchairs when needed
- flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- must meet all requirements to receive required airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available

Job Duties
- Monitor and manage a group of assigned gates to ensure all passengers who need wheelchairs receive assistance efficiently
- communicate with passengers about the airport and airline services available
- assist with the passengers who need a wheelchair between connecting flights when needed
- support and assign Passenger Assistants when there are multiple passengers or needing extra assistance
- coordinate with dispatcher, coordinator and shift leaders regarding gate assignments, delays, or passenger issues
- report on any issues such as late arrivals, no-shows, or gate changes
- ensure an adequate number of wheelchairs are available and organized for each gate
- maintain awareness of flight schedules and arrival times to anticipate transfer needs
