Job Requirements
- Working knowledge of methods, materials, and equipment used in custodial work
- Ability to understand and follow simple oral and written instructions
- Physical condition to lift up to 50 lbs, push, pull, stretch, stand, and walk for long periods
- Available to work any shift due to 24/7 airport operations
- Pass security clearance background check
- Pass pre-employment drug test

- Previous cleaning or custodial experience preferred
Job Duties
- Performs routine manual building cleaning and general labor tasks as instructed
- Scrubs, mops, waxes, sweeps, and polishes floors
- Utilizes manual cleaning tools and mechanized cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners and mechanized floor cleaners
- Dusts and polishes furniture
- Washes windows, blinds, woodwork, toilets, washrooms, and fixtures
- Cleans high areas including ceiling light fixtures and ventilation apparatus
- Moves desks, chairs, and equipment to prepare building facilities for activities and events
- Collects and disposes of paper and rubbish
- Refills soap, toilet tissue, and paper towel containers
- Loads and unloads delivery trucks and assists with bulky or heavy articles
- Washes outside windows and polices outside property to keep it free of trash
- Clears snow and salts walkways, driveways, and parking areas using snow removal equipment
- Performs related work as required
