Job Requirements
- Ability to work early morning shifts
- availability to work weekends
- ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- complete airline compliance training timely
- ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- ability to push luggage carts weighing up to 100 lbs
- standing for up to eight hours
- available for part-time shifts
- follow company appearance guidelines
- clean and well-maintained uniform
- successfully obtain necessary airport badges
- pass background and drug screening
- manage guest payments and simple addition
- maintain a professional demeanor
Job Qualifications
- At least 6 months experience in a face-to-face guest service position preferred
- ability to communicate clearly with guests and clients
- data entry and computer experience preferred
- knowledge of the airline or travel industry preferred
- ability to work in early morning rotation
- must be eligible to work in the United States
- must successfully pass pre-employment criminal background screening
- must pass pre-employment drug testing
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly as they approach the desk
- assist guests with check-in of luggage to appropriate airlines
- verify guest flight itinerary and number of bags
- input guest information for those not previously enrolled
- process check-in of bags including charging credit cards
- weigh guests' bags to verify appropriate weight and charge for overweight bags
- tag guest luggage with destination tags
- provide boarding passes, luggage claim tickets and receipts
- secure luggage immediately after processing
- maintain excellent verbal and written communication
- uphold a positive, friendly, and professional manner
- organize and stock the concierge desk
- manage guest payments
- answer telephones and guest questions
- manage simple addition
- comply with airline and TSA safety and security protocols
- complete airline compliance training within company timeframe
- work early morning shifts and weekends
- work outdoors in various weather conditions
- participate in required on-the-job security training
- obtain all applicable airport badges
