Job Requirements
- Ability to work in early morning rotation
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Ability to work in outside weather conditions
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Must pass pre-employment criminal background screening
- Must pass pre-employment drug testing
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- Ability to push luggage carts weighing up to 100 lbs
- Must stand for up to 8 hours
- Ability to bend, squat, kneel occasionally
- Must maintain professional appearance including grooming standards
- Must comply with company dress code and appearance guidelines
- Must secure applicable airport badges
- Must be able to use hands and fingers frequently
- Must be able to move quickly and regularly lift 75 lbs
- Vision requirements including close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to focus
Job Qualifications
- Ability to work early morning shifts
- At least 6 months of face-to-face guest service experience preferred
- Data entry and computer experience preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly with guests and clients
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of airline or travel industry preferred
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Successful completion of pre-employment criminal background screening
- Passing of pre-employment drug testing
Job Duties
- Warmly greet guests as they approach the desk
- Assist guests with check-in of luggage and verify flight itinerary
- Input guest information for first-time check-in
- Process payments for baggage fees including credit card transactions
- Weigh bags to ensure compliance with airline weight limits
- Tag guest luggage with appropriate destination tags
- Provide boarding passes, luggage claim tickets, and receipts to guests
- Secure luggage immediately after processing
- Maintain a positive, friendly, and professional manner
- Organize and stock the concierge desk
- Answer telephones and respond to guest questions
- Manage simple addition related to payments and transactions
