Job Requirements
- Ability to work in early morning rotation
- at least 6 months experience in guest service preferred
- data entry or computer experience preferred
- clear communication skills
- ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- knowledge of airline or travel industry preferred
- must be eligible to work in the United States
- successful pre-employment criminal background screening
- pass pre-employment drug testing process
- follow company appearance guidelines
- ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- ability to push luggage cages up to 100 lbs
- able to stand up to 8 hours
- tolerate outdoor noise and weather conditions
- must be clean shaven if male except for mustache, beard, or goatee
- no visible tattoos or body piercings
- wear clean and approved uniforms
Job Qualifications
- Ability to work early morning shifts
- at least 6 months experience in a face-to-face guest service position preferred
- data entry and/or computer experience preferred
- strong communication skills
- ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- knowledge of airline or travel industry preferred
- eligibility to work in the United States
Job Duties
- Warmly greet guests as they approach the desk
- assist guests with check-in of luggage to appropriate airlines
- verify guests' flight itinerary and number of bags
- input guest information for non-enrolled customers
- process check-in including charging credit cards for baggage fees
- weigh guests' bags to verify weight and charge for overweight bags
- tag guest luggage with destination tags
- provide boarding passes, luggage claim tickets, and receipts
- secure luggage immediately after processing
- maintain excellent verbal and written communication
- uphold a positive, friendly, and professional manner
- organize and stock the concierge desk
- uphold client guest service guidelines and values
- manage credit card payments
- answer telephones and guest questions
- perform simple addition for handling payments
