Job Requirements
- Complete airline compliance training within company timeframe
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting up to 75 pounds and pushing luggage carts
- Maintain company appearance guidelines including wearing clean uniforms
- Ability to stand for up to eight hours continuously
- Manage credit card payments accurately
- Follow TSA and hazardous materials security protocols
- Pass pre-employment criminal background check
- Pass pre-employment drug test
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Ability to work early morning shifts
- At least six months of face-to-face guest service experience preferred
- Data entry and computer experience preferred
- Clear communication skills with guests and clients
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of the airline or travel industry preferred
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and immediately as they approach the desk
- Assist guests with check-in of luggage to appropriate airlines and verify flight itineraries
- Input guest information for those not previously enrolled in the process
- Process luggage check-in including charging guests credit cards per airline requirements
- Weigh bags and charge for overweight luggage
- Tag guest luggage with destination tags appropriately
- Provide boarding passes, luggage claim tickets, and receipts to guests
- Secure luggage immediately after processing
- Maintain positive, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times
- Organize and stock the concierge desk
- Uphold client guest service guidelines and values
- Manage payments received from guests
- Answer telephone calls and respond to guest questions
- Perform simple addition and arithmetic as needed
- Follow safety, security, and hazardous material handling procedures
- Work effectively outdoors in all weather conditions
- Stand for extended periods and lift heavy items as required
