Job Requirements
- Must have the ability and availability to work weekends and holidays
- Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions
- Must be able to complete airline compliance training within the given timeframe
- Must be able to work early morning to afternoon shifts (1st and 2nd shifts only)
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs
- Ability to push luggage cages both empty and full
- Must be able to stand for up to eight hours at a time
- Must follow company appearance guidelines including wearing approved uniforms
- Must maintain a professional business-like image
- Must be able to manage cash and credit card transactions responsibly
Job Qualifications
- Ability to work in early morning shifts
- At least 6 months experience in face-to-face guest service preferred
- Data entry and/or computer experience preferred
- Clear communication skills with guests and clients
- Knowledge of airline or travel industry preferred
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Successful completion of pre-employment criminal background screening
- Pass pre-employment drug testing
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Job Duties
- Immediately and warmly greet guests as they approach the desk
- Assist guests with check-in of luggage to appropriate airlines by verifying flight itinerary and number of bags
- Input guest information for those not previously enrolled
- Process check-in including charging credit cards as per airline requirements
- Weigh bags to verify and charge for overweight items
- Appropriately tag guest luggage with destination tags
- Provide boarding passes, luggage claim tickets, and receipts to guests
- Immediately secure luggage upon acceptance and completion of processing
- Maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Maintain a positive, friendly, and professional manner at all times
- Organize and stock the concierge desk
- Uphold client guest service guidelines and values
- Manage payments received from guests
- Answer telephones and guest questions
- Ability to manage simple addition calculations
