Job Requirements

  • Live near LAX Airport with reliable transportation (car or public transit)
  • Working smartphone and access to spreadsheets
  • Availability for at least 8-10 dates between June 29 and August 12
  • Ability to provide overnight chaperone support as needed
  • Ability to work extended hours and on feet for long periods

Job Qualifications

  • 21+ years old with a government-issued ID
  • Clean background check
  • Experience working with teenagers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stay calm and resourceful under pressure
  • Significant airport or airline experience preferred
  • Ability to work 12+ hours on/off and stand/walk for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent customer service as the first point of contact for families
  • Calm anxieties and answer questions to build excitement for the trip
  • Facilitate check-in, security, and boarding procedures
  • Escort unaccompanied minors as needed
  • Track and manage traveler groups maintaining clear communication with travelers and staff
  • Adapt to flight delays, cancellations, and other changes
  • Handle travel-related issues and collaborate with airline staff and stakeholders
  • Provide occasional overnight chaperone support in airport hotel if required due to schedule changes or emergencies
