Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
- Experience and understanding of commercial issues in aviation
- Ability to navigate electronic devices
- Must clear an FBI fingerprint background check
- Must be physically fit to perform duties including standing, lifting up to 70 pounds, bending, pushing, and pulling
- Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions with exposure to loud noises
- Must be flexible to work variable shifts, weekends, and holiday shifts
- Must be able to work extended hours on short notice during non-routine operations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous ramp or airline experience
- Basic computer literacy
- Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English
- Ability to process information in a timely manner
- Must successfully complete all training requirements and maintain certifications throughout employment
- Ability to use electronic devices such as computers, fax machines, printers, and timeclocks
Job Duties
- Report to work on a regular and timely basis
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or vacuuming
- Gather trash and empty cans
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning tools
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment as well as clean and polish furniture and fixtures
- Mix water and detergents or acids to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications
- Follow procedures for use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage
- Steam-clean and shampoo carpets
- strip, seal, finish, and polish floors
- Operate vehicles or equipment required to perform or travel to cleaning site
- Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
- Spray insecticides and fumigants to prevent insect and rodent infestation
- Use cognitive skills to check, clean, sort, count, salvage, and/or store equipment
- Work independently or as part of a team without direct supervision
