Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Obtain a clear criminal record
- Ability to obtain necessary airport vehicle operator permit
- Must be capable of lifting/pushing/pulling up to 70 lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to work within required time parameters
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules
- Must successfully complete airline-specific training programs and re-certification
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- No prior experience required
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to operate forklifts safely
- Knowledge of food safety compliance preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to complete airline-specific training and certifications
Job Duties
- Build/strip commissary according to airline specs and schedules within established timelines
- Actively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS)
- Complete inventories according to airline requirements
- Understand and comply with IATA Food Safety requirements
- Promote and comply with company safety policies
- Maintain safety and security of warehouse at all times
- Assist in setup, cleaning, and storage of equipment and warehouse
- Handle food and goods courteously, promptly, accurately, and carefully during loading and offloading
- Receive, perform temperature testing, and inspection of catering deliveries
- Operate forklift safely and perform equipment checks
- Comply with all company and airline policies
- Transport, load, and unload aircraft galleys
- Communicate continuously with catering personnel and airline communication centers
- Coordinate and oversee aircraft turnaround activities
- Ensure processes comply with SLA standards and safety requirements
- Ensure safety and security of all employees
- Perform other duties as required
