Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent education
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess a valid driving license
  • Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess a valid driving license
  • Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements
  • One year of relevant work experience in the aviation or ground handling services industry preferred

Job Duties

  • Supervisors team of agents in cargo duties
  • Responsible for routing, loading, and unloading inbound and outbound air freight shipments to and from the proper destinations
  • Interact with customers to receive and provide cargo shipments, collect fees and process payments and other transactions related to those shipments in a courteous, accurate and timely manner
  • Prepares and examines the bill of lading and weight items to determine shipping charges and prepare freight bills
  • Contact vendors and/or claims adjustment department to resolve problems with shipments
  • Notifies customers of any delays in departure or arrival of shipments
  • Monitors and enforces safe working conditions in accordance with regulatory requirements, Unifi policies and safety procedures, and all applicable laws
