Job Requirements

  • Must possess computer experience of 6 plus months and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to navigate electronic devices including computers, fax machines, printers, and timeclocks
  • A proven track record in supervising a business unit
  • Experience in operational planning and resource allocation
  • Working knowledge of ground support equipment maintenance issues
  • Experience and understanding of commercial issues in aviation
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Capable of processing information in a timely manner
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Able to proficiently speak, read, and write in English
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Previous ramp or airline experience
  • Must successfully complete all training requirements and maintain certifications throughout employment
  • Must clear an FBI fingerprint background check
  • Must be physically fit to perform duties including standing, lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling for extended periods
  • Capable of repetitively lifting up to 70 pounds in confined spaces
  • Willing to work outside in all weather conditions with exposure to loud noises
  • Must be able and flexible to work variable shifts, weekends, and holiday specific shifts
  • Must be able to work extended hours on short notice during non-routine operations

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Leads must report to work on a regular and timely basis
  • Ensures Cabin Appearance Agents are in Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ready to perform duties
  • Provides input on operational improvements and efficiencies
  • Reports operational feedback for flight cleaning quality and performance to leadership
  • Addresses security related issues to leadership and is responsible for meetings
  • Able to perform under pressure and within fixed time constraints
  • Ensure Ramp Agents are adhering to uniform standards
  • Perform cosmetic arrangement of seat belts, headrests, etc.
  • Help prepare cabin for customer boarding and departure, including cleaning seats, seat pockets, floor, galleys, and lavatories
  • Clean and service aircraft interiors including cabin, cockpit, galleys, and lavatories
  • Check, handle, assemble, remove, and install passenger service cabin furnishings and supplies according to list specifications, ensuring all areas are completely clean
  • Assist Ramp agents when Cabin Cleaning is complete
  • Load and unload passenger baggage and/or freight and cargo to/from aircraft bins, bag carts, and/or conveyor belts
  • Transport loaded bags and/or freight and cargo to/from aircraft and/or airport terminals
  • Drive and/or operate ground support equipment
  • Perform FOD walks in the ramp area between flights
  • Marshal aircraft during arrival and departures
  • Ensure necessary ground equipment is available in the ramp area and bag room for upcoming flights
  • Read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous materials identification labels, aircraft loading manifest, and baggage routing tags
  • Follow and comply with all federal, state, municipal, airport authority, and carrier rules and regulations
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
