Job Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Must be physically fit to perform job duties including standing, lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling for extended periods
  • Capable of repetitively lifting up to 70 pounds in confined spaces
  • Able to proficiently speak, read, and write in English
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Must successfully complete all training requirements and maintain certifications
  • Must clear an FBI fingerprint background check
  • Must be flexible to work variable shifts including overnight, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have experience and understanding of commercial aviation issues
  • Must be able to navigate electronic devices
  • Must have a working knowledge of ground support equipment maintenance issues

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous ramp or airline experience
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Ability to navigate electronic devices such as computers, fax machines, printers, and timeclocks
  • Working knowledge of ground support equipment maintenance issues
  • Experience and understanding of commercial issues in aviation
  • Able to proficiently speak, read, and write in English
  • Must successfully complete all training requirements and maintain certifications throughout employment
  • Valid driver's license
  • Able to work flexible hours including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Perform cosmetic arrangement of seat belts, headrests, etc
  • Help prepare cabin for customer boarding and departure including cleaning of seats, seat pockets, floor, galleys, and lavatories
  • Clean and service aircraft interiors including cabin, cockpit, galleys, and lavatories
  • Check, handle, assemble, remove, and install passenger service cabin furnishings and supplies according to specifications ensuring all areas are free of dirt, debris, marks, and fingerprints
  • Assist ramp agents when cabin cleaning is complete
  • Load and unload passenger baggage, freight, and cargo to and from aircraft bins, bag carts, and conveyor belts
  • Transport loaded bags, freight, and cargo to and from aircraft and airport terminals
  • Drive and operate ground support equipment
  • Perform FOD walks in the ramp area between flights
  • Marshal aircraft during arrivals and departures
  • Ensure necessary ground equipment is available in the ramp area and bag room for upcoming flights
  • Read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous materials identification labels, aircraft loading manifests, and baggage routing tags
  • Follow and comply with all federal, state, municipal, airport authority, and carrier rules and regulations
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
