Job Requirements

  • Meet flight hour requirements specific to grade (750-1500 hours)
  • submit official flying history documentation
  • hold valid pilot rating and aeronautical order
  • have experience qualifying for wing operations or training officer roles for instructor positions
  • maintain military membership and comply with uniformed service requirements
  • meet age, height, weight, and fitness standards
  • provide terminal leave form or DD214 or certification if applicable

Job Qualifications

  • Possess a USAF pilot rating
  • hold a valid aviation service aeronautical order
  • have required flight hours in mission design series depending on grade
  • have progressively responsible experience for instructor roles
  • demonstrate ability to perform military flying duties
  • maintain military membership in the Air Force Reserve
  • comply with physical and military standards

Job Duties

  • Operate military aircraft to support mission requirements
  • train and instruct pilots in flight operations and procedures
  • maintain flight records and submit detailed reports
  • comply with military regulations and safety standards
  • participate in active duty tours as required
  • maintain physical fitness and military readiness
  • coordinate with military units for mission planning and execution
