Job Requirements
- valid USAF pilot rating
- valid aviation service aeronautical order
- minimum total military flight time as specified (750 to 1,500 hours depending on GS level)
- two to three years progressively responsible flying experience for instructor roles
- submission of ATAFR-209 form or equivalent flight history documentation
- eligibility for Air Force Reserve membership
- compliance with physical fitness, age, height, and weight standards
- willingness to wear uniform and maintain military specialty requirements
Job Qualifications
- possession of a USAF pilot rating
- valid aviation service aeronautical order
- minimum required military flight time based on GS level
- experience in flying component of the U.S. military establishment
- progressively responsible experience for flight instructor positions
- ability to meet military membership and physical fitness standards
- demonstrated leadership and training capabilities for senior roles
- submitted official flight documentation for verification
Job Duties
- operate and pilot assigned aircraft in training and mission scenarios
- conduct flight instruction and training for junior pilots and flight crew
- maintain comprehensive flight records and documentation
- participate in unit readiness and operational planning
- adhere to all military and aviation regulations and standards
- collaborate with military and civilian personnel to ensure mission success
- continuously update skills and qualifications through training and evaluation
