Job Requirements
- Meet minimum total military flight time in organization mission design series
- Submit ATAFR-209 Form or equivalent flying history report
- Provide proof of most recent flight activity and total flight hours
- Comply with military physical fitness, age, height, and weight standards
- Obtain and maintain military membership in the Air Force Reserve
- Ability to perform dual civilian and military roles as required
- Willingness to deploy on active duty as needed
Job Qualifications
- Possess a USAF Pilot rating
- Hold a valid aviation service aeronautical order
- Have required military flight hours according to GS grade level
- Demonstrate progressively responsible flying experience for instructor roles
- Ability to obtain and maintain military membership in the Air Force Reserve
- Strong knowledge of military flight operations and protocols
Job Duties
- Operate assigned aircraft safely and efficiently according to mission requirements
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and maintain flight readiness
- Train and mentor junior pilots and flight crew members
- Participate in mission planning and execution
- Maintain compliance with all military aviation regulations and standards
- Support unit operational readiness through participation in training exercises
- Complete administrative and operational reports as required
