Job Requirements
- currently possess USAF pilot rating
- hold valid aviation service aeronautical order
- meet total military flight time minimums as per GS level
- submit official flight time documentation such as ATAFR-209 form or flying history report
- meet Air Force Reserve military membership qualifications
- comply with age

- and physical fitness standards
- availability for full-time work schedule
- willingness to wear military uniform and maintain military specialty requirements
Job Qualifications
- possess a USAF pilot rating
- hold a valid aviation service aeronautical order
- minimum 750 to 1500 total military flight hours depending on GS level
- two or more years of progressively responsible flying experience for instructor roles
- ability to meet military physical fitness and uniform requirements
- experience in flying component of the U.S. military establishment
- knowledge of mission design series for assigned aircraft
Job Duties
- operate and pilot military aircraft in assigned mission design series
- conduct flight instruction and evaluation for pilots
- maintain a high standard of flight readiness and operational proficiency
- comply with Air Force Reserve military regulations and standards
- maintain and update flight logs and documentation
- support training missions and operational deployments
- coordinate with military and civilian personnel for mission execution
