Job Requirements
- applicant must have a USAF Pilot rating
- hold a valid aviation service aeronautical order
- meet minimum military flight time as specified for GS-2181-12 through GS-2181-14
- provide official documentation verifying flight hours and recent flight activity
- obtain and maintain military membership in the Air Force Reserve
- meet age, height, weight, and physical fitness standards
- be willing to perform dual civilian and military duties
- submit application before Public Notice closes
Job Qualifications
- possess a USAF Pilot rating
- hold a valid aviation service aeronautical order
- have required total military flight hours in the organization’s mission design series depending on grade level
- possess progressively responsible flying experience for instructor roles
- demonstrate leadership experience in military flying components
- maintain military membership in the Air Force Reserve

Job Duties
- perform flight operations in accordance with military and civilian guidelines
- conduct flight training and instruction for Reserve pilots
- maintain accurate flight records and documentation
- participate in unit training and readiness activities
- ensure compliance with safety regulations and military policies
- mentor and guide less experienced pilots
- support operational mission planning and execution
