Job Requirements

  • Meet minimum flight hours: 750-1500 depending on grade
  • Provide official flight history documentation
  • Obtain and maintain Air Force Reserve membership
  • Maintain physical fitness and military appearance standards
  • Ability to balance civilian and military duties
  • Comply with mobilization and deployment requirements
  • Submit required forms such as ATAFR-209 or Flying History Report

Job Qualifications

  • Possess a USAF Pilot rating
  • Hold a valid aviation service aeronautical order
  • Have minimum required military flight time as per grade level
  • Demonstrate progressively responsible flying experience
  • Ability to instruct and evaluate pilots (for instructor roles)
  • Meet military physical and uniform standards
  • Experience in flying mission design series aircraft

Job Duties

  • Operate aircraft in compliance with military and federal regulations
  • Conduct flight instruction and evaluation for Reserve pilots
  • Maintain flight readiness and meet physical fitness standards
  • Complete required military training and maintain specialty qualifications
  • Participate in annual active duty tours and full-time civilian duties
  • Maintain accurate records of flight time and training
  • Support mission readiness and mobilization initiatives
