Job Requirements

  • submission of ATAFR-209 form or equivalent flight history documentation
  • ability to obtain and maintain military membership in the Air Force Reserve
  • compliance with military physical fitness standards
  • meeting age, height, and weight requirements
  • willingness to wear the military uniform and maintain military specialty credentials
  • availability for active duty tours and mobilization
  • must provide terminal leave form or DD214 if recently separated from active duty

Job Qualifications

  • possession of a valid USAF pilot rating
  • hold a current valid aviation service aeronautical order
  • have minimum required military flight time in the mission design series
  • experience relevant to position level (750 to 1500 total flight hours)
  • progressive flying experience in military assignments for instructor positions
  • ability to meet US Air Force Reserve military membership requirements
  • excellent proficiency in flight operations and training

Job Duties

  • pilot military aircraft according to mission requirements
  • conduct flight instruction and training for military personnel
  • ensure compliance with military aviation regulations and safety standards
  • maintain a valid USAF Pilot rating and aeronautical order
  • participate in Air Force Reserve training, drills, and active duty assignments
  • prepare and submit official flight documentation and reports
  • collaborate with Wing Operations and Training Officers as necessary
