Job Requirements

  • Possess USAF pilot rating
  • Hold valid aviation service aeronautical order
  • Have minimum total military flight time as per grade
  • Submit ATAFR-209, flying history report, or official documentation
  • Meet Air Force Reserve military membership requirements
  • Maintain age, height, weight, and physical fitness standards
  • Be willing to wear Air Force Reserve uniform and fulfill military duties

Job Qualifications

  • Possess USAF pilot rating
  • Hold a valid aviation service aeronautical order
  • Have minimum required military flight hours for respective grade
  • Demonstrate progressively responsible flying experience for instructor roles
  • Experience in flying components qualifying for leadership progression
  • Ability to maintain fitness and military specialty requirements
  • Effective communication and leadership skills

Job Duties

  • Operate and pilot Air Force aircraft in mission design series
  • Conduct flight training for junior pilots and flight crew
  • Maintain flying proficiency and adhere to safety protocols
  • Evaluate and mentor Air Force Reserve flying personnel
  • Support Air Force Reserve unit readiness and deployment preparation
  • Ensure compliance with both civilian and military regulations
  • Participate in military readiness activities including active duty tours
