Job Description

This job opportunity is with the United States Air Force Reserve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) playing a crucial role in piloting and instructional duties within the Air Force Reserve. Job Requirements

  • Must have USAF Pilot rating
  • Hold valid aviation service aeronautical order
  • Meet minimum military flight hour requirements based on grade level
  • Submit official flight documentation such as ATAFR-209 Form or Flying History Report
  • Be eligible for military membership in the Air Force Reserve
  • Meet military physical fitness, age, height, and weight standards
  • Comply with military specialty and uniform requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Possess a valid USAF Pilot rating
  • Hold a valid aviation service aeronautical order
  • Have progressively responsible experience in military flying operations
  • Demonstrate leadership and training capabilities as a flight instructor
  • Maintain physical fitness and military readiness standards
  • Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience equivalent to Wing Operations and Training Officer role for instructor positions

Job Duties

  • Operate and pilot aircraft safely in accordance with Air Force Reserve standards
  • Conduct instructional flight training to develop new pilots and maintain qualifications
  • Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections and ensure operational readiness of aircraft
  • Maintain accurate records of flight hours and qualifications documentation
  • Participate in military exercises and missions as required
  • Collaborate with military and civilian personnel to support operational objectives
  • Ensure compliance with military regulations and Air Force Reserve policies
