Job Requirements

  • possession of a USAF pilot rating
  • valid aviation service aeronautical orders
  • submission of official flight hour documentation
  • minimum of 750 to 1,500 total military flight hours depending on the grade
  • progressively responsible military flying experience
  • current membership or eligibility for Air Force Reserve
  • adherence to military height, weight, and physical fitness standards
  • ability to obtain and maintain required military specialty qualifications

Job Qualifications

  • experience in a flying component of the U.S. military for flight instructor roles
  • ability to progress into wing operations and training officer equivalent positions

Job Duties

  • operate military aircraft safely and efficiently
  • conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections
  • perform flight instructor duties for qualified personnel
