Job Requirements

  • Applicant must possess a USAF Pilot rating
  • Hold a valid aviation service aeronautical order
  • Have a minimum of 750 to 1,500 total military flight time depending on the position
  • Submit official documentation verifying flying history and flight hours
  • Meet military membership requirements including physical fitness
  • Maintain active membership in the Air Force Reserve
  • Comply with age, height and weight standards

Job Qualifications

  • Possess a valid USAF Pilot rating
  • Hold a valid aviation service aeronautical order
  • Have minimum military flight time as per grade level requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in progressively responsible flying roles
  • Familiarity with mission design series aircraft operations
  • Ability to instruct and mentor other pilots
  • Strong understanding of Air Force Reserve policies and procedures

Job Duties

  • Perform flight operations in assigned aircraft within the mission design series
  • Maintain currency and proficiency in flight duties according to USAF standards
  • Conduct training and instruction for pilots as required, including serving as a flight instructor
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and operational protocols during flight missions
  • Support mission readiness by participating in squadron operations and training exercises
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of flight hours and qualifications
  • Coordinate with military and civilian personnel to fulfill Air Reserve Technician duties
