Job Requirements

  • hold a USAF pilot rating
  • possess a valid aviation service aeronautical order
  • have the required total military flight hours relevant to the job grade
  • submit ATAFR-209 Form or official flight documentation
  • meet physical fitness and military standards
  • be eligible for Air Force Reserve military membership
  • comply with age, height, and weight requirements
  • submit terminal leave form or DD214 if applicable

Job Qualifications

  • possession of USAF pilot rating
  • valid aviation service aeronautical order
  • minimum of 750 to 1,500 total military flight hours depending on grade
  • progressively responsible military flying experience for instructor roles
  • experience qualifying for Wing Operations and Training Officer or equivalent
  • ability to comply with military regulations and standards

Job Duties

  • operate and pilot military aircraft in the organization's mission design series
  • instruct and train other pilots as a flight instructor
  • maintain aviation service aeronautical orders and comply with flight regulations
  • complete flight hours requirements and submit official flight documentation
  • participate in military training and active duty tours
  • maintain physical fitness and military standards
  • support unit operational readiness and mobilization efforts
