Job Requirements
- Possess a USAF Pilot rating
- Hold a valid aviation service aeronautical order
- Minimum of 750 total military flight hours for GS-12 pilots
- Minimum of 1,000 total military flight hours for GS-13 pilots
- Minimum of 1,200 total military flight hours and two years relevant experience for GS-13 instructors
- Minimum of 1,500 total military flight hours and three years relevant experience for GS-14 instructors
- Submit official flight documentation including ATAFR-209 Form or Flying History Report
- Meet civilian and uniformed military qualifications
- Obtain Air Force Reserve membership
- Maintain physical fitness standards
- Adhere to military age, height, and weight requirements
Job Qualifications

- Have required minimum flight hours according to grade level
- Demonstrate progressively responsible flying experience for instructor roles
- Meet military membership and physical fitness standards
- Maintain military specialty qualifications

Job Duties
- Operate and pilot assigned aircraft safely and efficiently
- Conduct flight instruction and training for pilots and crew members
- Maintain and verify accurate flight records and logs
- Adhere to Air Force Reserve policies and aviation safety regulations
- Participate in active duty tours and reserve mobilization exercises
- Ensure compliance with physical fitness and military specialty requirements
- Collaborate with military and civilian teams to support mission objectives
