Job Requirements

  • Possess a USAF Pilot rating
  • Hold a valid aviation service aeronautical order
  • Have required military flight time based on position grade
  • Submit flying history report or official flight documentation
  • Meet physical fitness, age, height, and weight military standards
  • Be eligible for military membership in the Air Force Reserve
  • Comply with dual civilian and military job responsibilities

Job Qualifications

  • Possess a USAF Pilot rating
  • Hold a valid aviation service aeronautical order
  • Have a minimum of 750 to 1,500 total military flight hours depending on grade level
  • Demonstrate progressively responsible experience for flight instructor roles
  • Possess experience qualifying for Wing Operations and Training Officer or equivalent
  • Meet uniformed military requirements including fitness standards
  • Ability to submit required flight hour documentation

Job Duties

  • Operate military aircraft to conduct training and operational missions
  • Provide flight instruction and evaluation to junior pilots
  • Maintain aviation service aeronautical orders and comply with all flight regulations
  • Complete and submit flying history reports and required flight documentation
  • Participate in annual active duty tours and maintain military readiness
  • Collaborate with military and civilian personnel to support Air Force Reserve mission objectives
  • Adhere to military uniform and physical fitness standards
