Job Requirements

  • Eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information and sign nondisclosure agreement
  • Pass initial and periodic drug testing under Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program
  • Possess FAA Airline Transport Pilot certificate and Instructor ratings or military equivalent
  • Maintain current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
  • Prepare to work nonstandard hours and after-duty recall
  • Possess valid State Driver's License
  • Be available for occasional CONUS and OCONUS travel
  • Have minimum 4,000 total flight hours including 1,000 multi-engine hours
  • Be ready to travel on short notice to OCONUS locations
  • Have thorough knowledge of FAR Part 61, 91, 121, 125, and 135

Job Qualifications

  • Possess FAA Airline Transport Pilot certificate with Airplane Multi-Engine Land rating
  • Certified Flight Instructor certificate or military equivalent
  • Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
  • Minimum 4,000 total flight hours with at least 1,000 hours multi-engine time
  • Thorough knowledge of FAR Parts 61, 91, 121, 125, and 135
  • Experience as military instructor pilot or certified flight instructor
  • Ability to perform flight and ground instruction

Job Duties

  • Serve as crewmember including Pilot-in-Command on operational missions in multi-engine turbine aircraft both domestically and abroad
  • Serve as a flight and ground instructor in various fixed-wing aircraft
  • Perform duties as unit Safety representative and Intelligence Operations Security representative on a rotational basis
  • Serve as unit Government Flight Representative and Government Ground Representative ensuring contractor compliance with federal and defense acquisition regulations
  • Conduct operational missions and fulfill flight and operational support office functions with minimal supervision
