Job Requirements
- Must have logged 1,000 or more total pilot time or 1,300 hours Primary Flight Time or Instructor Pilot time
- Must be instructor qualified in unit aircraft
- Knowledge of flying operations and rated aviator expertise
- Knowledge of DOD planning and programming for flying operations
- Knowledge of capabilities and limitations of unit-assigned aircraft
- Ability to independently plan, organize work and meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Ability to obtain and retain necessary security clearance
- Must participate in flight standardization and evaluation
- Must be willing to relocate and sign mobility agreement
- Must comply with Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment of the Gun Control Act
- Must obtain instructor qualification within two years
- Must be able to work overtime and perform temporary duty assignments
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Plan and conduct flying operations and unit flying training activities
- Formulate plans and policies pertaining to operations and flying training
- Participate in regular flight standardization and evaluation including written tests and actual flight performance
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Maintain and demonstrate leadership and managerial abilities
- Fulfill Air Force Reserve requirements including unit training assemblies
- Perform additional duties as assigned
