Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- undergraduate degree from accredited institution
- Federal Aviation Administration certifications or military aviation school accreditation
- minimum 24 months of relevant aviation experience
- one year on-the-job experience at required grade or rank
- ability to read and apply mission tasks, intelligence, and weather information
- proficiency in flight operations and safety regulations
- experience with mission planning and crew briefings
- must upload transcripts and career data briefs as proof of education and certification
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university
- Federal Aviation Administration certifications or accredited military aviation school certifications
- minimum of one year of on-the-job experience at the grade immediately below the next higher level
- at least 24 months of experience in civilian or military aviation programs
- proficient in flight theory, navigation, meteorology, and mission tactics
- experienced in training and instructing others in piloting specific military aircraft
- knowledge of aviation safety and quality control programs
- strong leadership and communication skills
Job Duties
- Deliver flight instruction and training to Air National Guard pilots
- plan and coordinate mission preparations and flight schedules
- conduct preflight inspections and ensure aircraft are mission-ready
- supervise and evaluate flight safety programs and quality control initiatives
- develop and apply flight safety protocols and operational risk management
- advise commanders on flight operations, training, and safety compliance
- coordinate with FAA and other agencies for airspace and mission requirements
