Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- must be at least 18 years old
- valid driver’s license
- ability to read, write, and speak English
- basic math skills
- basic computer and office equipment skills
- effective communication skills
- ability to pass airline and airport training
- ability to respond to emergencies and severe weather
- pass drug screenings and background checks
- able to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel
- lift up to 70 lbs unassisted
- good vision and depth perception
- auditory ability and tolerate loud noise with protection
- able to talk and hear
- able to work outdoors in inclement weather
- manual dexterity
- work near moving mechanical parts
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- possess a valid driver’s license
- high school diploma or GED
- basic English reading, writing, and speaking skills
- basic mathematical skills
- basic computer skills
- knowledge of general office equipment
- effective verbal and written communication skills
- ability to pass airline and airport initial and recurrent training
- ability to respond to emergency situations and severe weather conditions
- ability to pass drug screenings
- ability to pass a criminal background check
Job Duties
- Aircraft towing
- marshalling aircraft to and from gates
- lavatory servicing
- potable water servicing
- aircraft de-icing
- aircraft interior cleaning
- aircraft and commissary security searches
- stock aircraft and carts with supplies
- load, offload, and transport luggage
- provide proper handling of special care baggage
- operate, maintain, and fuel heavy motorized equipment
- ensure ramp area is safe and free of foreign object debris
- general housekeeping
- snow removal
- maintain clean assigned area
- work with other departments to ensure on-time performance
- adhere to airline, TSA, and FAA regulations
- communicate professionally over two-way radio
- manage telephone calls
- assist customers with luggage and wheelchair requests
- work varied hours including nights, weekends, holidays
- perform additional duties as assigned
