Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must pass background check, pre-employment drug test and obtain security clearance
  • Must have authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Must have valid driver's license
  • Relative airline or aviation experience
  • Willing to work outside in all weather and elevated noise levels
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to push, pull, lift 50 lbs. for extended periods
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Bilingual skills a plus
  • Ability to work efficiently under time constraints
  • Must be available to work varied hours including swing and graveyard shifts plus weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Plans, organizes, directs, and participates in ramp services operations for both contracted commercial flights and charter aircraft
  • Directs and trains assigned agents including new employee and ongoing in-service training
  • Implements departmental policy for operations and advises Station Manager on policy issues
  • Coordinates services activities with air carrier personnel, station managers, and TSA representatives
  • Participates in operation and training of various equipment ensuring maintenance
  • Ensures compliance with FAA and TSA regulations, airline rules, and procedures
  • Maintains emergency checklists and supplies
  • Prepares and submits verbal and written reports related to service activities and agents
  • Updates Multi-User Flight Information Display System (MUFIDS) as required
  • Coordinates communications between Airport, airline dispatch personnel, and flight captains
  • Handles responsibilities involving billing, payment data correction, cash handling, and ordering supplies
  • Performs other duties as assigned
