Job Requirements
- Minimum 18 years old
- valid US work authorization
- able to stand for 3-4 hours at a time
- reading and comprehension of reference materials, instructions, policies and procedures
- flexible schedule and availability
- professional demeanor and exceptional presentation
- background check and fingerprinting required
- drug screen required prior to the day of hire
- ability to travel for training
Job Qualifications
- Previous airline experience preferred
- ramp and bag room experience preferred
- strong working knowledge of airline product systems and procedures
- familiarity with airline computer systems
- strong leadership skills
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
- previous customer service experience
- high school diploma or G.E.D.
- English proficiency
- terminal and airport operations knowledge preferred
- retail and/or hospitality work experience
Job Duties
- Coordinate weight and balance documentation with load control
- maintain daily trip files, station traffic reports, and handling-related statistical data
- supervise ramp functions and staff
- conduct operational safety and load security checks prior to departure
- lead operational activities during irregularities
- coordinate all phases of aircraft handling including catering, cleaning, fueling, and crew and passenger boarding/de-boarding
- oversee loading and unloading of cargo and luggage ensuring proper buildup and securing
- liaise closely with gate agents and passenger service teams
- ensure accurate Bag Scan handling and maintain Left Behind Baggage Index (LBI) control
- provide daily performance reports and document delays
- implement new procedures and product enhancements
- ensure all operations comply with safety, security, and legal regulations
