Job Requirements
- must be 18 years or older
- must be able to prove right to work in u.s.
- must meet airport badging requirements including a 10-year background check
- valid driver's license and meet company insurance criteria if operating vehicles
- ability to read, write, speak and understand english
- able to work effectively in a team
- reliable transportation to and from the airport
- able to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds
- able to stand up to 3 hours per shift with minimal sitting
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in cargo handling or aviation industry is an advantage
- valid driver's license if required to operate ground vehicles
- ability to follow safety protocols
- effective communication skills
- teamwork and customer service skills
Job Duties
- assist in load and offload of air cargo
- operate vehicles and ground support equipment on airport
- comply with safety regulations and company policies
- communicate effectively with team members and customers
- maintain cleanliness and organization of ramp work areas
- perform physical tasks including lifting and moving cargo
- adhere to airport security and badging requirements
