Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • ability to lift and handle heavy baggage and cargo up to 50 lbs or more
  • valid driver's license maintained throughout employment
  • strong communication skills
  • flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends, holidays, and nights
  • basic mechanical aptitude
  • ability to pass background checks and comply with airport security regulations
  • attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
  • fluently read, write, and speak English
  • willingness to join the Transport Workers Union (TWU) and pay union dues

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Marshall aircraft upon arrival and departure
  • load and unload cargo/baggage on and off aircraft
  • safely drive and operate ground support equipment including belt loaders, tugs, and baggage carts
  • sort and load baggage
  • perform ground service functions such as connecting/removing ground power and ground start units and water service
  • perform aircraft pushback, wing walking and related guide man functions
  • maintain a secure work environment
