Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- college preferred
- three years of supervisory or management experience in the airline industry
- valid driver’s license
- must pass comprehensive background check including fingerprint-based criminal records check
- must pass pre-employment and periodic random drug tests
- authorization to work in the U.S.
- ability to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
- must obtain and maintain required certifications including Complaint Resolution Official and Ground Security Coordinator certificates
- physical ability to carry 70-pound luggage and perform required physical tasks
- strong communication and organizational skills
- ability to lead and motivate staff
- demonstrated commitment to customer service.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- college preferred
- three years of supervisory or management experience in the airline industry
- thorough working knowledge of aircraft types used at the station
- thorough working knowledge of FAA/TSA security directives and procedures for passenger processing and baggage transfers
- must obtain and maintain current Complaint Resolution Official certificate when required
- must obtain and maintain Ground Security Coordinator certificate for aircraft over 61 seats
- must possess training certificates for De-Icing/Anti-Icing, Aircraft Pushback, security search, and Security Exit Door training
- must have a valid driver’s license
- must successfully pass background investigation including fingerprint-based criminal record checks
- must pass periodic random drug testing
- ability to work various assigned shifts including evenings and weekends.
Job Duties
- Establish and maintain safety compliance of aircraft, customers, facilities, and employee working environments
- address issues and provide corrective action
- ensure compliance with all Federal directives and security requirements
- audit to ensure quality assurance
- ensure compliance for controlling station expenses and maintain cost control program
- establish airport and local community relations as liaison with airport city officials, FAA, TSA, police, and fire departments
- coordinate airline vendor functions and act as liaison for local contracts providing service to airlines
- evaluate performance and review service provided to airlines
- ensure compliance of all station manuals and monitor revisions
- ensure compliance of customer service, baggage handling, and departure dependability
- establish effective and cost-efficient work schedules
- participate in interview, hiring, and workforce requirements
- coordinate, provide training and ensure requirements are met for all employees
- provide feedback, research and respond to customer complaints and compliments
- establish employee recognition programs for station achievements
- work to establish contract revenue and pursue opportunities to ensure profitability
- perform functions of a Station Agent
- perform other duties as assigned by Regional Manager
- pass a ten-year background check and pre-employment drug test
- have authorization to work in the U.S.
