Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • must be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • must meet airport badging requirements including TSA Security background check
  • must have a valid Driver's License and meet all company insurance criteria
  • occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • college or aviation trade school is preferred
  • strong aviation background with understanding of aviation weather, flight planning, and FAR91 or FAR135 regulations
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to read and interpret safety rules, government regulations, procedure manuals, and technical instructions
  • familiarity with Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel

Job Duties

  • Provides flight following of company aircraft in accordance with company procedures and Federal Aviation Administration regulations
  • coordinates scheduled and on-demand flights with customers and company to ensure safe and efficient service
  • works closely with Flight and Maintenance Departments
  • interacts with customers to coordinate the transport of high priority work with critical delivery cut-off times
  • coordinates with Flight Crew Members to make critical go/no-go flight release decisions
  • exercises operational control as a DOT safety-sensitive position
  • prepares effective and timely contingency plans to recover from service disruptions
  • writes routine reports and correspondence
  • collects and inputs flight data
  • may assist with handling of aircraft including ground power unit to start aircraft
  • occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
