Job Requirements

  • Experience as a USAF aircrew member or in USAF, DoD flying unit training program
  • experience working with GTIMS or similar training documentation program
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • active Secret Security Clearance
  • ability to coordinate with multiple military agencies
  • capability to manage and update records and training schedules accurately
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • attention to detail
  • ability to work on-site at Charleston AFB

Job Qualifications

  • Experience as a USAF aircrew member
  • experience working in a USAF squadron, group, or wing training program
  • experience working in a Department of Defense flying squadron, group, or wing training program
  • experience serving in a DoD flying unit training flight
  • experience working with GTIMS or similar training documentation software
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • excellent written, verbal communication, and customer relation skills
  • active Secret Security Clearance
  • relevant aircrew operational specialty codes (not required) including AFSC, USA MOS, USMC MOS, USN NEC

Job Duties

  • Builds, reviews, and updates student and permanent party records, folders and grade books
  • coordinates scheduling of classes and exams
  • performs individual gradebook checks for training requirements
  • prepares and executes training and testing plans
  • schedules members for required ground training events
  • provides weekly updates to squadron leadership on personnel readiness
  • coordinates with scheduling office to maximize training opportunities
  • tracks upgrade and continuation training accomplishments
  • assists in development of new curricula and syllabi
  • updates data in training management systems
  • interfaces with resource management personnel to update aviation resource systems
  • generates required reports and forms including training inputs, AF Form 2096s, non-mission-ready letters, and proration consideration reports
  • assists with Squadron Training Review Panel briefings
