Job Description

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of organizational level aircraft maintenance experience
- Valid Virginia or North Carolina driver license if applicable
- Experience with special maintenance tools and equipment
- Ability to read and understand technical and safety documents
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Physical fitness to meet the demands of the job
- Ability to successfully obtain security clearance and facility credentials
- Prior military aviation maintenance training or technical school curriculum preferred
- Possession of FAA issued A&P license preferred
- Experience with U.S. Navy F/A-18 aircraft maintenance highly preferred.
Job Duties
- Service aircraft including flight line servicing
- Direct incoming and outgoing aircraft with hand or light signals
- Secure aircraft in parking positions with chocks and tie downs
- Operate service vehicles to replenish fuel and oil
- Perform pre-flight to post-flight maintenance inspections and document servicing
- Check for fuel contamination and operate ground support equipment
- Assist in towing aircraft and perform interior and exterior aircraft cleaning
- Conduct hangar deck housekeeping and clean fluid spills using various tools and equipment.
