Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent
- Previous airline experience preferred
- Previous experience in security, military, or customer service preferred
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have reliable telephone and transportation
- Treat all information as confidential
- Possess tact to deal with all levels of situations
- Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English
- Must be able to sit, stand, lift and/or bend throughout the shift
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- Must pass a pre-employment background check
- Must meet necessary requirements to obtain security sensitive identification badge
- Must be in possession of a valid U.S. passport
- Must be willing to travel to Cuba and return the same day
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Provide security screening to prevent introduction of weapons and dangerous items
- Use hand-held metal detectors and conduct physical inspections
- Notify law enforcement or security coordinators upon detection of threats
- Ensure safe handling and control of discovered dangerous items
- Communicate effectively with staff and public
- Report major incidents and safety hazards to supervisors
- Maintain cleanliness and report maintenance needs in work area
