Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must have reliable telephone and transportation
- Must be able to sit stand lift and bend throughout the shift
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- Must pass pre-employment background check
- Must meet necessary requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge
- Must be in possession of a valid U.S. passport
- Must be willing to travel to Cuba and return the same day
- Treat all information as confidential
- Possess tact to deal with all levels of situations clients employees and public
- Must be able to read write understand and carry out instructions in English
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Previous airline experience preferred
- Previous experience in security military or customer service preferred
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have reliable telephone and transportation
- Must be able to read write understand and carry out instructions in English
- Must be familiar with government airport client and company regulations
Job Duties
- Provide security screening to prevent introduction of weapons explosives and other deadly items into the air transportation system by means of available screening equipment
- Conduct physical searches and take proper action upon detection of a questionable or dangerous item
- Notify or ensure immediate law enforcement officer or airline ground security coordinator notification when necessary
- Ensure safe handling of dangerous or deadly weapons objects discovered until arrival of the law enforcement officer
- Contact law enforcement officer if items of contraband are discovered during the screening process and maintain control of items until arrival of the officer
- Report all government tests real weapons injuries and major incidents to supervisor immediately
- Keep supervisor informed of needs and problems in assigned areas maintain cleanliness of work area and report maintenance needs
- Project a positive image and respond courteously to inquiries from clients staff and public
- Attend meetings and in-services as required
- Utilize appropriate communication channels and maintain records reports and files
- Adhere to company policies and procedures and participate in achievement of company objectives
- Utilize company and client equipment supplies and resources conscientiously and cost effectively
- Perform other duties as requested
