Job Requirements
- Open availability and flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and reach
- Willingness to wear and utilize company-supplied personal protective equipment including hearing protection
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Must comply with all applicable airport security rules and regulations
Job Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lift 70 pounds or more
- Ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment
- Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English
- Commitment to excellent customer service
- Comfortable using computers, mobile devices, and tablets
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Eligible to acquire required credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs, U.S. Postal as applicable)
Job Duties
- Guard secured airport areas and aircraft entrances
- Monitor for suspicious individuals and enforce security regulations
- Load and unload passenger baggage safely and efficiently
- Operate baggage handling equipment such as conveyor belts and trolleys
- Sort and route baggage accurately according to flight destinations
- Ensure timely delivery of baggage to and from aircraft
- Complete incident reports with accuracy
