Job Requirements
- Must have secret security clearance
- BS degree in relevant field
- Minimum 8 years military aviation experience as Navy Pilot or Naval Flight Officer or equivalent
- Two years experience in Test and Evaluation environment
- Experience with aviation exercise planning and range operations
- Proficient with MS Office
- Strong technical writing and presentation skills
- Physical ability to move on aircraft and ships at sea
- Able to travel 25 percent of the time
Job Qualifications
- BS degree
- Minimum 8 years as U.S. Navy Pilot or Naval Flight Officer or military equivalent
- Two years relevant experience
- Demonstrated ability to work in complex Test and Evaluation environment
- Experience with Aviation Exercise Planning and Execution and Range Operations
- Proficiency in MS Office and technical writing
- Excellent oral presentation skills
- Ability to traverse aircraft and shipboard ladders and decks
- Experience conducting briefings to active duty and civilian personnel
- Willingness to travel 25 percent of the time
Job Duties
- Provide aviation expertise and guidance to PEO IWS 1TE management involving planning, scheduling, and execution of aircraft services
- Conduct Test and Evaluation event planning and liaison with NAVSEA Port Hueneme Division Test Officers and Project Officers
- Participate in testing of new construction and overhauled ship weapon systems at land and sea locations
- Identify aircraft requirements and assist in scenario and flight profile development
- Ensure airspace scheduling and act as on-site representative for aviation matters
- Forecast and coordinate aircraft stores and flight clearances
- Conduct personnel and aircrew briefings and provide daily flight schedules to ranged operations
