Job Requirements
- Security clearance required: secret minimum
- BS degree and 2 years experience
- minimum 8 years as a U.S. Navy Pilot or Naval Flight Officer or equivalent
- demonstrated experience in complex test and evaluation environment within DoD
- experience in T&E in aviation exercise planning, range operations, foreign military and multiple test ranges
- computer literacy with MS Office
- technical writing proficiency
- excellent oral communication
- ability to traverse aircraft and ships at sea including ladders and decks
- demonstrated experience briefing active duty and civilian personnel
- travel up to 25 percent
Job Qualifications

- minimum of 8 years as a U.S. Navy Pilot or Naval Flight Officer or equivalent
- experience working in Department of Defense test and evaluation environments
- proficiency in MS Office
- technical writing skills
- excellent oral presentation skills
- demonstrated ability to brief large groups
- experience in aviation exercise planning and execution
- familiarity with fixed-wing tactical aircraft
- knowledge of Air Force tanker scheduling
Job Duties
- Act as an ARC for the PEO IWS1TE Air Services Manager
- develop and coordinate long-range military and Commercial Air Services resource scheduling for aerial services
- identify opportunities for aircraft cost avoidance or savings
- conduct day-to-day flight operations within the Air Resources Group
- provide aviation expertise and guidance involving planning, scheduling, and execution of aircraft services
- conduct T&E event planning and liaison with NAVSEA Port Hueneme Division officials
- participate in testing of ship weapon systems both on land and at sea
- identify aircraft requirements and develop test scenarios and flight profiles
- ensure airspace scheduling and serve as on-site representative for aviation matters
- forecast and coordinate aircraft stores and flight clearances
- conduct briefings for personnel and aircrew
- provide flight schedules and record flight data
- participate in T&E events to ensure compliance with policies and directives
- oversee fixed wing and helicopter flight operations during T&E execution
