Job Requirements

  • B.S. Aviation Management or related technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-5 years commercial aviation experience, preferably repair station oriented
  • Proficient in aircraft manuals and maintenance procedures
  • Familiarity with non-destructive testing methods
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation and blueprints
  • Working knowledge of FAA regulations and standard aviation paperwork procedures
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn software applications and mainframe systems
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to climb work stands and access all parts of the aircraft

Job Qualifications

  • Familiarity with non-destructive testing methods

Job Duties

  • Provide accurate technical estimations and planning for maintenance and modification projects
  • Manage dock control, labor tracking, billing, and data entry processes
  • Interpret and apply information from aircraft manuals, engineering orders, service bulletins, and blueprints
  • Research Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and Operator Letters (AOLs)
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company policies
  • Prepare and manage job cards, time cards, routine/non-routine cards, and work sign-off documentation
  • Coordinate with department heads and customer representatives to ensure project alignment
  • Supervise work with professionalism, courtesy, and tact
  • Negotiate and resolve planning-related issues as needed
