Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Military fixed-wing or corporate flight experience may substitute for required flight hours or years of experience
- Seven years piloting experience for Pilot IV
- Eight years piloting experience for Pilot V
- At least 3,500 hours total flight time for Pilot IV
- At least 4,000 hours total flight time for Pilot V
- Minimum 1,000 multi-engine fixed wing hours for Pilot IV
- Minimum 1,500 multi-engine fixed wing hours for Pilot V
- Minimum 500 hours multi-engine turbine fan PIC for Pilot IV
- Minimum 1,000 hours multi-engine turbine fan PIC for Pilot V
- Valid driver’s license
- FAA commercial pilot license SEL
- FAA airline transport pilot license MEL
- Certified flight instructor CFI
- CE 680/680A type-200 hours PIC
- Type rating in turbine multi-engine fixed wing turbo fan/prop aircraft
- FCC radio operator’s license
- First class medical certificate
- Must pass pre-employment physical
- Must pass drug test prior to employment and comply with random drug testing

- Certified flight instructor (CFI) certification
- CE 680/680A type-200 hours as pilot in command
- Type rating in a turbine multi-engine fixed wing turbo fan/prop aircraft
- FCC radio operator’s license
- First-class medical certificate issued under FAA Part 67 regulations
- Experience coordinating and leading safety training and operational audits
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Job Duties
- Acts as pilot in command on high-profile and complex missions and flight operations
- Oversees and supports aviation standard operating procedures (SOP) development and compliance
- Provides guidance and support to less experienced pilots
- Oversees the development and implementation of training programs and safety initiatives
- Assists with emergency operations by airlifting equipment, supplies and/or people as required
- Compiles and prepares necessary reports
- Coordinates and schedules flight plans with applicable flight service staff and maintains flight records
- Inspects condition of aircraft and maintains records pertaining to operation of aircraft
- Maintains flight skills and stays updated on aviation developments, industry standards, and relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Operates radio equipment aboard airplane
- Operates single- and multi-engine fixed-wing aircraft to transport passengers and designated goods
- Reads applicable advisory notices, obtains weather data and interprets/applies data based on flight plan, adjusts schedules and routes as required
- Responsible for and ensures safe operation of aircraft and safety of passengers, crew and support staff, administers first aid if required
- May perform other duties such as flight operations, maintenance management, aviation safety, pilot training and drone operations
- May serve as a lead worker by serving as a resource for complex questions, presenting workflow and operational updates to supervisor/manager, providing input on team members' career conversations, and approving leave requests to ensure operations coverage
- Performs other job responsibilities as assigned
- Advises on aviation program development
- Serves as pilot training, safety, and operations officer and assists Chief Pilot/Section Director as directed
- Leads safety and operational audits
- Coordinates with law enforcement and emergency response
